The type of personal information we collect
We currently collect and process the following information:

Postal Address
Telephone Numbers
E-mail Address
County Shirt Size
How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
BRSMBA membership management
Requests to be kept informed of county bowls news.
Competition and charity events.
County league fixtures and results.
The above may be on the WhatsApp group chat or on the website.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
Your consent. If consent has been given you are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting the current Brecon & Radnor Short Mat Bowls Association (BRSMBA) Secretary, detailed at the end of this privacy notice.
Administration requirements of the BRSMBA and associated activities (contract and/or legitimate interest).
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored physically and electronically in the homes of the BRSMBA committee members. It may also be stored on a secure server in the cloud.
Mobile phone lists and e-mails are stored securely on the e-mail provider (e.g. Gmail) server.
We keep your contact details for as long as you are a member of the BRSMBA, or have given consent to be contacted with news, competitions and events. We will then dispose of your information by electronic deletion including from contact lists and shredding of paperwork.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
Your right to erasure – You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to object to processing – You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
